if the problem is encountered by only one of your navigators, consult documentation relating to the configuration of this last. Do not hesitate to inform you near the newsgroups or search engine Internet (google, AltaVista,…)

if the problem is encountered on all your navigators, it is a question of checking the configuration of your firewall (Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall…)

You can temporarily test the posting of the site by disabling your firewall, time to carry out the test of connection to our Internet site vcre.ca.

Well-known problem with Norton Internet Security :

Norton Internet Security has ad-blocking features that are designed to prevent web advertising being displayed on web pages.

If a user has ad-blocking turned on, this can stop DHTML menus from working (Search Engine of the website VCRE.CA, Dynamic Menus).

Norton Internet Security uses an extremely crude method of keyword matching to determine whether or not a block of javascript code contains advertising links.

A page with a URL containing 'ad' may even be blocked.

We don't have an exhaustive list of keywords used by Norton Internet Security but the type of words that we know trigger this problem are those that contains :

- 'ad'
- 'sponsor'
- 'banner' etc.

To solve your problem you can:

-1 Start Norton Internet Security
-2 Select Ad-blocking feature
-3 Click 'configure'
-4 Disable Ad Blocking Feature (let Pop-Up Blocking turned on).

If this solution does not bring the solution to your problem :

-1 Start Norton Internet Security
-2 Select 'Personal Firewall'
-3 On the Firewall tab, click Default Level. (The slider is reset to Medium).

If you continue to encounter the problem of posting, we suggest you contacting the service of support of your firewall.

If you have another firewall with which you encounter similar difficulties, contact the service of technical support of your firewall.
