How to search

We hope this guide will help you go through all the different steps to search for a property to sell or rent. Searching for a property is completely free and free of charge.

LOOKING FOR A PROPERTY

On the top of the page, you have access to a search engine that allows you to select:

1) the area
2) the category to which the property belongs
3) the type of property desired
4) the price or price range wanted.

Once you have chosen these criteria, just click on “search”.

You then get the list of properties corresponding to your search criteria:

On top of the result list, in most columns, you have some filters you may apply on the results in order to better target your research. You may select a specific town.

If the results you received correspond to what you are looking for, you may save your current search parameters by clicking the “Save the research” button. This will allow you to receive an alert email with these criteria. To do so, you will have to be a VCRE.CA website member. Registering as a member is free.

Clicking on a property in a list gives you access to the detailed information of that property as well as name and address of the advertiser.

If you are interested in a property, you may click the “Add to Favourites” button so you may access the advertisement later on without having to start the process all over. To take advantage of this functionality, you have to be a member. Registering as a member is free.

Property information is shown in two different tabs “Summary information” and “Detailed information”.

You may access property detailed descriptions right from the list of properties by clicking the next and previous arrows at the bottom of the page. You may also go back to the list of results by clicking the “Back to Results” hyperlink.
